Editorial Policy (iSmartFeed)
Effective date: January 24, 2026
At iSmartFeed, we publish educational content for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. This policy explains how we create and review our content.
1) Content standards
We aim to publish content that is:
- Clear and structured for real-world learning
- Focused on fundamentals and safe practice
- Written in plain language and based on established BJJ concepts
- Updated when needed (rules, terminology, or training best practices)
2) Sources & references
Some topics may reference:
- Widely recognized BJJ principles and commonly taught fundamentals
- Publicly available competition rule summaries (when relevant)
- General training concepts used across grappling sports
3) Safety-first approach
BJJ is a contact sport. Techniques carry risk. Always:
- Train with qualified instructors when possible
- Tap early, respect training partners, and follow gym rules
- Use protective practices appropriate to your level and goals
4) No individualized coaching
We do not offer personalized instruction, technique diagnosis, or medical guidance. For individual support, consult a qualified coach or licensed professional.
5) Corrections
If you believe something is inaccurate or outdated, contact us at contact@ismartfeed.com. We review and update when appropriate.
